Privacy Policy
Techma is based in Québec, Canada. Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25, applies to us, and so does the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). This page explains how we meet both on this website.
Effective October 30, 2026
Who we are
This website is run by Techma inc., 3295 Rue Dubé, Québec, QC G1M 3T3, Canada. You can reach us at info@techma.ca or +1 (418) 931-7712.
The person responsible for the protection of personal information at Techma is Masdouk Adelakoun, Chief Executive Officer. Write to him at info@techma.ca, with “Privacy” in the subject line, or at the postal address above.
What we collect
You can visit this site without telling us who you are. It has no accounts, no newsletter sign-up and no payment page, and it keeps no database of visitors.
We receive personal information only when you choose to send it:
- The booking calendar on the contact page: the details the calendar asks for to book the call, such as your name, email address and the time you choose.
- Email and phone: whatever you put in a message to info@techma.ca or tell us on a call.
Like every website, the servers that deliver these pages record basic technical information with each request, such as an IP address, the browser used and the page requested. Our host keeps these logs for a short period, to run the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use them to identify visitors.
Why we collect it
We use what you send us for these purposes only:
- to answer your message or your question;
- to hold the call you booked;
- to follow up about the work you asked us about.
We do not sell personal information, we do not send marketing emails, and we do not use your information for any other purpose without asking you first.
Consent, and how to withdraw it
You consent by choosing to send us your information. You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to info@techma.ca. We then stop using your information and delete it, except where the law requires us to keep something. Withdrawing consent does not undo what was done while it was in place.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it to answer you and follow up. Once the exchange is over and no work follows, we delete your message and your booking. If we go on to work together, we keep what the work and the law require, and no more.
Deleting means removing the message from our mailbox and the booking from our calendar, including their trash folders. The person responsible for the protection of personal information makes sure this is done.
Your rights
Under Québec law and PIPEDA you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong or incomplete, ask us to delete it or stop using it, and ask us to stop distributing it. You can also ask to receive the information you gave us in a structured, commonly used format.
To make any of these requests, write to info@techma.ca or to Techma inc., 3295 Rue Dubé, Québec, QC G1M 3T3, Canada. We answer within 30 days. To protect your information, we may ask you to confirm your request from the email address you used with us.
If you are not satisfied
If you are unhappy with how we handled your information or your request, you can complain to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec, which supervises this law. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada where PIPEDA applies. Neither body is affiliated with Techma, and you do not need our permission to contact them.
Confidentiality incidents
If an incident affects personal information we hold, we record it in our register of confidentiality incidents. When it presents a risk of serious injury, we notify the Commission d’accès à l’information and the people affected, as the law requires.
Changes to this page
When what the site collects or the suppliers we use change, we update this page and its effective date.
